YourProxy Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information YourProxy (proxyour.com) handles, and how, while running its residential, static residential and datacenter proxy service. It takes effect on 2026-10-18.

What information does YourProxy handle?

YourProxy handles only the information needed to run accounts, top-ups, billing and abuse prevention. Each item below lists the information and its purpose as it is actually handled.

YourProxy is a proxy service for residential, static residential and datacenter proxies that all run on one token and one balance. Pick a country and city to connect through an IP in that area.

The conditions of use are in the YourProxy Terms of Service.

What is stored in a YourProxy account?

A YourProxy account stores a hash of the access token, the last 4 characters of the token, a hash of the sign-up IP address, the balance and the creation time. The token itself is not stored; it is checked only by its hash.

Stored itemPurpose
Hash of the access tokenChecking login and proxy access
Last 4 characters of the tokenShowing which token it is in the dashboard
Hash of the sign-up IP addressApplying the 3 accounts per IP rule
BalanceTop-ups and usage billing
Creation timeAccount management and records

Because the token is kept only as a hash, a lost token cannot be recovered or shown again. Copy the token or download it as a .txt file at sign up and keep it safe.

What cookies does YourProxy use?

YourProxy uses only two cookies: a login session cookie and a language cookie. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

Cookie nameContent
yp_sidKeeps the login session (httpOnly, 30 days)
yp_langRemembers the chosen language

yp_sid is set as httpOnly, so page scripts cannot read it. If you log out or clear cookies in your browser, you need to log in again.

How are the IP address and connection country used?

The IP address is used for login attempt limits, the sign-up rule and operations notices. The connection country is read on each request only to show the minimum top-up, and it is not stored with the account.

  • Login attempt limit: the IP address is used temporarily to apply the 10 per 10 minutes limit.
  • Sign-up rule: the sign-up IP address is stored only as a hash for the 3 accounts per IP rule.
  • Connection country: the country provided by the network (Cloudflare country header) is read at request time to show the minimum top-up for that country.

Visitors from World Bank low and lower-middle income countries see a minimum top-up of $10. Top-up amounts are listed on YourProxy pricing.

What information is in a sign-up notice?

When a new account is created, the YourProxy operations team receives an internal notice. The notice includes the device type, language, source page and IP address.

Sign-up notices are used only internally for running the service and preventing abuse. They are not published or used for other purposes.

What records are kept for a top-up?

A top-up records the amount, status, time, payment request reference, deposit address, amount to send, received amount, blockchain transaction id (TXID), credited amount and bonus. These records are used to confirm deposits and credit the balance correctly.

USDT deposits are processed by a payment server operated for YourProxy. Blockchain transactions are public by nature, so the deposit address and transaction id can be seen by anyone on the blockchain.

Top-up rules, cancellation and refunds are covered in the YourProxy refund policy.

How are proxy usage records handled?

When you use the proxies, usage amounts (GB and number of IPs) are recorded for billing. The content of proxy traffic is not stored.

You can check your usage records in the usage history of the dashboard. Connection steps are on the YourProxy setup guide.

Does YourProxy share personal data with others?

YourProxy does not sell personal data. Information is processed only where it is needed to run the service.

  • Payment server: a payment server operated for YourProxy processes USDT deposits.
  • Cloudflare: sits in front of the site for network security and delivery.
  • Legal requests: YourProxy can respond to requests required by law, to the extent needed.

How long is personal data kept and how is it deleted?

Account data is kept while the account is in use and is deleted on request through customer support. Top-up records are kept as needed for accounting and abuse prevention.

Please send deletion requests through customer support in your account dashboard. Customer support opens after your first credited top-up.

The IP address used for login attempt limits is used only temporarily during the limit period.

How does YourProxy protect information?

YourProxy protects information by storing the token and the sign-up IP address as hashes and by setting the login cookie as httpOnly. Cloudflare in front of the site keeps the network secure.

The token is both your login and your proxy password, so please keep it safe as well. Token rules are in the YourProxy Terms of Service.

How will I know if the Privacy Policy changes?

YourProxy can update this Privacy Policy and posts the changes on this page with a new effective date. Important changes are announced in advance on the site or in the dashboard.

Please send privacy questions through customer support in your account dashboard. Common questions are answered on the YourProxy FAQ.
